Acetylcysteine capsules are mucolytics that can dilute excessive secretions in the air passage. They are used for purulent sputum, excessive mucus, and sputum that is relatively thick and difficult to expel.
Indications
1. Acute bronchitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, and bronchiectasis caused by various reasons.
2. Bronchopneumonia, lung abscess and other conditions present with excessive and relatively thick sputum.
Precautions
Patients with bronchial asthma should be closely monitored during the use of this drug. If bronchospasm occurs, the drug should be stopped immediately.
Adverse reaction
Nausea and vomiting occur occasionally, and allergic reactions such as rashes and bronchospasm are extremely rare.
