Ampicillin + cloxacillin capsule is an equal mixture of ampicillin and cloxacillin, used for urinary tract infections caused by Escherichia coli, Proteus, non-hemolytic Streptococcus, etc.
Indications:
Urinary tract infections caused by Escherichia coli, Proteus, non-hemolytic Streptococcus, etc.
Respiratory tract infections caused by influenza bacillus, Streptococcus, etc.
Biliary and intestinal infections caused by Salmonella typhi and Shigella.
Meningitis caused by pneumococcus, Neisseria meningitidis, Haemophilus influenzae, etc.
Adverse Reactions
The most common allergic reaction is rash;
Oral administration can cause mild gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Renal toxicity and other symptoms may occur when used in large doses (200mg/kg per day).
